Situated near beautiful Bakewell, Sunnylea Cottage was built at the turn of the century and still has its original beams and some original pine doors; it has a large garden with lawn, shrubs and outside furniture and can sleep up to four guests.

You enter the cottage through the garden and in the front door to a small hall, which leads to stairs and into the lounge which has two windows looking into the garden with views of the surrounding countryside. In the lounge there is a cottage style three-seater suite and two matching chairs and a nest of tables. For entertainment, guests have a TV, Video and DVD player and on a large set of draws is a radio/tape/CD player. There is also a collection of books and games for adults and children. There is a lovely pine fireplace with coal effect gas fire. From the lounge you can walk into the fitted kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen/dining room has a pine table and chairs, a tiled stone floor and blinds on its two windows. Included in the kitchen is a washer/dryer, microwave, oven, grill and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and toaster.

The property has two bedrooms which are located upstairs and a modern bathroom. There is a double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The Double Bedroom one has a very old carved oak bed double with matching bedding and curtains. There is an oak wardrobe for your clothes. The room has two windows overlooking the garden. Beams in the ceiling and wall lights.

Bedroom two has twin beds, a wardrobe and windows overlooking the garden.

Our guests share one bathroom. The modern bathroom has a toilet, WC, bath and shower. Linen is provided.
